In this, we desire to glorify God through seeking to have an impact for his Kingdom in our surrounding community, province, nation, and to the ends of the earth—all for His glory!

Free Yard Sale
Every year Harvest Church members show their neighbours the unconditional love of God by giving, for free, asking nothing in return. On a Saturday in June, people bring items from home, set them up in the Harvest parking lot and run a yard sale where all the items are free!

Sarah Guyatt, Child Evangelism Fellowship Ontario (CEF Ontario)
CEF Ontario is an interdenominational missions organization that exists to support local churches to be able to reach the 95% of children in Ontario that will never attend gospel teaching church. CEF Ontario does that by providing curriculum, training, and ongoing support to churches as they seek to reach children with the gospel, disciple them in the Word of God, and connect them into their local church body. Sarah is a part of a team that developed the STEM Club and STEMcation programs that are used to help kids explore the Bible and experience creative discovery through science, technology, engineering, and math.
Jon and Chantel Wilke, InterAct Ministries
Jonathan and Chantel met while helping plant a church in a small northern Ontario town. After taking a few years to focus on their young family and healing from some difficult ministry experiences, they felt the Lord calling them out. They volunteered with Camp Nookoowai in the summer of ‘22 and knew Southern Alberta was where God wanted them. During Christmas break of ‘22 they hit the road to move their family across the country. Jonathan and Chantel have served the Blackfoot Nations with Camp Nookoowai in a lay capacity since then. In January ’24 doors were opened to fellowship with and serve alongside the Lighthouse Fellowship Church in Piikani Nation which has been an immense blessing. Later in ’24 they felt led to pursue full-time ministry among the Blackfoot and, with the blessing of their local Blackfoot pastor, began the process of partnering with InterAct Ministries. The Wilkes are excited for what God is doing in southern Alberta and their passion is to come alongside the local Blackfoot church to support and raise up disciples to maturity in Jesus Christ.

Camp Nookoowai
For over 30 years, Camp Nookoowai — Blackfoot for “my home” — has been a place of refuge and restoration for Indigenous children from the Blood, Piikani, Eden Valley, Morley Tsuut’ina, and Siksika reserves across Southern Alberta. Located near Lethbridge, Pincher Creek, and Cardston, the camp provides a safe, nurturing environment where young people can experience the love of Christ through intentional mentorship, fun-filled activities, and meaningful community.
Harvest Church Huntsville has had the honour of walking alongside this ministry for the past three years. In that time, we've sent five separate mission teams to Camp Nookoowai — each one passionate about sharing the Gospel and building life-changing relationships with campers. Our teams have helped lead programming, worship, games, and small group discussions, all with the goal of pointing young hearts to Jesus.
It’s our joy to support Camp Nookoowai’s ongoing mission of healing, identity, and belonging. We believe in the eternal impact this camp is having, and we’re committed to continuing the work of reconciliation and restoration — one child, one story, one summer at a time.
Camp Nookoowai’s hope is to have the same reach as when Jesus announced His ministry:
“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the broken hearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed.”
