As per government guidelines, service capacity is limited to space sufficient to ensure physical distancing of at least 2 metres (6 feet) can be maintained. Anyone planning on attending one of the services will need to sign up ahead of time on our Events Page or through our Harvest Church Centre App. Please remember to sign up each individual of your family who is planning to attend.

Cleaning & Sanitization
The building will be cleaned and sanitized prior to each Sunday gathering and a team of volunteers will be cleaning and sanitizing after each worship service.
There are also numerous hand-sanitizing stations throughout the building for your use when entering and exiting.

Volunteers
Each of our volunteers will be pre-screened before serving, will practice proper social distancing and will be wearing masks.

Face Coverings
To remain consistent with SMDHU guidelines, face masks/face coverings must be worn by all attendees at Harvest Church. Please bring one for every member of your family. Please come early so we can get you checked in.

Make your way to the main entrance where our greeters will ask if you have signed up for the service and followed the Ontario Government pre-screening protocols on our website. They will ask for a clear COVID assessment confirmation before allowing you to enter the church.

Follow the arrows into the worship centre where ushers will guide you to your seat. Please wait to be seated by our ushers. The chairs have been set up in rows 6ft apart. Please ensure that there are 3 seats between each family group. Thank you for helping us seat people quickly by following the directions of our ushers.

For Harvest Kids, we ask that one parent drops off and picks up their child(ren). Please follow the instructions of staff of volunteers.

Public Washrooms will be limited to the downstairs washrooms. Please practice social distancing.

In order to practice proper social distancing and a touch-free environment, we encourage those who are able to give to do so using our online giving/direct banking options, which can be found here or by using our Harvest Church Centre app (we will also provide a collection box for those who want to give but are not able to use these options). 

We won’t be distributing any bulletins. Those who wish to take sermon notes should bring their own notebook or journal and if you have not already done so, feel free to sign up for our weekly Harvest E-News by clicking here.

We also won’t be distributing any Connection Cards, but the Harvest Church Centre app will be a great way for you to submit prayer requests.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

From the time you get out of your vehicle until you get back into your vehicle, please maintain a 2-metre distance between yourself and anyone who isn’t part of your “10-person bubble.” As hard as it will be in a church that loves to hug, you’re going to need to refrain from shaking hands, hugging or touching anyone other than those in your “10-person bubble” and maintain proper social distancing. We understand that despite our best efforts and procedures to implement proper social distancing, there may be times in the movement of people where you will be closer than 6 feet/2 meters.

In order to provide enough time for our volunteers to clean and sanitize between services we would ask that you exit the building promptly. 

If you require prayer after the service this will need to happen outside of the building and social distancing will still be in effect.
